Golden Milk Latte (Turmeric Latt)
Besides the incredible health benefits of turmeric, it also adds a bold flavour to your average latte.
Golden milk is generally made with a handful of ingredients including hints of warm spices such as cinnamon and ginger. You can also add a pinch of black pepper for a more hot and earthy flavour.
Also, it’s imperative that you whisk intermittently either using a frother or a whisker, so that the milk turns frothy.
This creamy golden milk is a healthy elixir that is soothing and warm, with a perfect blend of spices and sweetness.
INGREDIENTS:-
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup / date syrup
- ¼ tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 shot expresso (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:-
- In a saucepan, whisk milk, turmeric, ginger and cinnamon. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and syrup.
- Pour into a mug and add a fresh shot of expresso.
- Give it one last stir and garnish with a pinch of cinnamon and serve.
