Beetroot Smoothie
This vibrant root is known to be one of the most potent antioxidant vegetables, packed with fiber, vitamins and minerals.
So it’s no surprise that beetroots make a wholesome breakfast smoothie, one that is easily customizable to your taste palate.
Along with adding a deep crimson color to your drink, beetroots also add a mild earthy and tart taste.
We’ve used celery stalks, banana and pineapple for this smoothie recipe. You can however, blend in a variety of nutritious ingredients like spinach, kale, mixed berries or vegan yogurt.
INGREDIENTS:-
- 1 small beetroot, boiled and peeled
- 2 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1/2 cup pineapple / apple, chopped
- 25 cup plant-based milk
- 2 tsp maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS:-
- Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Chill in the refrigerator and serve with garnishes of mint leaves and chia seeds.
