Quick And Easy Cranberry Sauce
The holidays are upon us and it’s hard to imagine a spread without the simple yet impressionable cranberry sauce!
This sweet and tangy sauce pairs well with almost any dish. it’s not just used as a topping for your waffles, pancakes, parfaits and pudding, but also makes an excellent glaze and marinade for your grilled dishes.
Here’s how to make this 3 – ingredient – only cranberry sauce in under 30 minutes:
INGREDIENTS:-
- 300g fresh cranberries
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:-
- Heat a saucepan over medium heat and combine the orange juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the cranberries and cook until they start to pop. Cover with a lid and cook for 12-15 minutes, giving the mixture a stir every 5 minutes, to ensure that the bottom doesn’t burn.
- Turn off the heat and allow the sauce to cool. The sauce will thicken significantly while it cools. So, add additional water to thin the sauce as per your preference.
When the sauce cools to room temperature, serve immediately or chill for about 2 hours before serving.
