Vegan Caramel Frappe (From Scratch)
There’s nothing more indulgent than a refreshing and creamy iced coffee, that can not only be made from the comfort of your own home, but is also relatively healthier than the ones from a coffee shop. You can sweeten the drink with caramel sauce made of dates or jaggery instead of using sugar.
All you need is 6 ingredients and a blender to make this perfectly sweet and decadent caffeinated drink!

- 3/4 cup plant-based milk
- 1 cup strongly brewed black coffee, chilled

- Heat a pot over medium-high heat. Add the sugar and stir until it starts to melt.
- Pour in the milk and stir constantly until the sugar is dissolved and no lumps remain.
- Turn to a medium-low heat as the mixture starts to bubble and gently stir constantly so that it doesn’t burn.
- Continue for 10-15 minutes or until the sauce turns thick and sticky.
- Turn off the heat and allow the sauce to slightly cool before transferring to a jar.
For the frappe:
- Toa blender, add milk and 3-4 tablespoons of caramel sauce and blend until well-combined.
