5 Minute Chocolate Avocado Smoothie (Vegan)
Avocados and smoothies go hand-in-hand! The lusciously creamy and thick texture of avocados make the drink almost like a milkshake. And not to forget, they’re loaded with healthy fats, vitamins and fiber, making it a healthier addition to your plain smoothie.
To make a wholesome and power-packed breakfast, add in some protein powder, oats, hemp, chia, sunflower and/or pumpkin seeds.
This 5-minute smoothie is perfect not just for breakfast, but also for a post-workout drink and a guilt-free dessert.
INGREDIENTS:-
- 2 cups plant-based milk
- 1/2 an avocado, ripe
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2-3 tbsp maple syrup (or any sweetener of choice)
- 1 tbsp almond butter (optional)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:-
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add more milk to reach your desired consistency. Serve chilled.
